Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 13, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Freedom mobile applications, website, and related software (together, the “Service”), operated by Minepost Technologies Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Freedom provides

Freedom is an AI-assisted research workspace. Depending on your plan and product availability, the Service may offer:

  • Persistent research conversations and visible run activity.
  • Evidence-based answers with citations to third-party sources.
  • Screenshot and document extraction followed by user review and confirmation.
  • Saved workspace context, comparisons, reports, and structured briefs.
  • Account, subscription, notification, and support features.

Features may change as we improve the Service, and some features may be limited, experimental, or unavailable in certain locations or plans.

3. AI-assisted research

Freedom is a software workspace that helps users organise source material and create research outputs. AI output and third-party data can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing cited evidence and deciding how to use any output.

The Service does not replace professional advice. Obtain advice from a qualified professional where your use case requires it.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms or applicable law.

5. Your content and workspace data

You retain ownership of prompts, screenshots, documents, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, reproduce, and transmit User Content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You must have the right to submit User Content. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, or contains unnecessary sensitive information. Automated extraction may make mistakes; you must review extracted data before confirming it.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the Service unlawfully, deceptively, or to harm another person.
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, probe the Service, or interfere with its operation.
  • Use automated means to scrape, overload, or extract the Service except through an interface we expressly provide.
  • Reverse engineer or copy protected parts of the Service except where applicable law permits it.
  • Upload malware, confidential third-party data without authority, account secrets, or content that violates others’ rights.
  • Resell, white-label, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs without our written permission.

7. Third-party sources and services

The Service may use or link to third-party sources, AI providers, authentication services, app stores, and infrastructure. We do not control third-party content and do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, availability, or continued accessibility. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their separate terms and policies.

8. Subscriptions and billing

Some features may require a recurring subscription. Pricing, duration, trial terms, taxes, and the payment provider will be displayed before purchase. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and payment processing may also be governed by that provider’s terms.

Unless you cancel before the renewal date, a recurring subscription may renew automatically. You can manage or cancel it through the account or purchase channel shown at checkout. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, payment-provider policy, applicable law, and any terms shown at purchase.

9. Intellectual property

The Service—including its software, design, branding, workflows, and original content—is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes that adversely affect paid access.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, failed to pay applicable charges, or abused the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will survive.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its directors, employees, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data, opportunity, goodwill, or anticipated savings arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
